BERT KROEKER SCHOLARSHIP
ABOUT
The Bert Kroeker Scholarship was established in 2006 in memory of long-time member and supporter of MCA, Bert Kroeker. Bert was the founder of ChoralFest and was a former president of the organization. MCA awards the scholarship annually to a deserving student who is actively pursuing a career in choral music education.
APPLICATIONS
Applicants for this scholarship must:

be a resident of Manitoba

have experience singing in school, church, or community choirs

intend to pursue a career in choral music education

submit proof of acceptance for current or future study at a recognized institution

submit two letters of recommendation

Applications are reviewed every year by an independent committee. Please submit all supporting materials to programs@mbchoralassociation.ca.
The annual deadline is April 30.

For 2024 there are up to 2 Bert Kroeker Scholarships available with a minimum award of $600 each.
​
The Bert Kroeker Scholarship Fund is administered by the Winnipeg Foundation, and the amount varies from year to year, depending on available funds.
