Assiniboine Chorus is a vibrant 30-member women’s ensemble dedicated to singing a cappella 4-part harmony in the barbershop style. Energetic, supportive, and passionate about music, we are seeking a dynamic Musical Director to lead and inspire our group. The ideal candidate will bring strong musical expertise, an engaging teaching style, and a great sense of humour. They should be an effective communicator with solid organizational skills and a collaborative approach. A clear artistic vision and prior experience directing vocal ensembles would be valuable assets. This position begins on September 1, 2026. Rehearsals are held Tuesdays from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, running from September through June. Please submit your resume by June 15, 2026.

Nova is Winnipeg Sonora Voices' entry-level choir program for children ages 5 and 6. Children learn to match pitch, sing in an ensemble, and develop their singing voice to express musical ideas in songs and engaging musical activities. Classes are 45-minutes, once per week, for 16 weeks (October - March). Two performances - December (a Nova family sharing session) and March (a Winnipeg Sonora Voices choir concert). Join our WSV team of artistic staff and be part of a choir family for children and youth ages 5-25!
