Fauré’s glorious Requiem is one of the most popular choral works of all time, and is renowned for its strength and beauty. Join us in the unparalleled acoustic of historic Knox United Church (400 Edmonton St.) for a time of creating community through music. We will meet for 10 Tuesdays (starting June 14th) from 7 to 9 p.m., organist Dorcas Windsor orchestra will join us for the final few rehearsals before the concert.
SummerChör Winnipeg is an initiative of Winnipeg composer, conductor and educator Neil Weisensel, who also Co-Directs the popular World Village Gospel Choir with his wife Rachel Landrecht.
To register to sing, email Summerchor@gmail.com. The fee for singing with us this summer is $75, you can pay via e-transfer to the email address above, or cash/check at rehearsals. High School and University students with a valid student card sing for free!
