CHORALFEST REGIONAL TOUR

MCA is excited to expand ChoralFest around the province in 2023!
Thanks to grants from the Province of Manitoba Arts, Culture, & Sport in Community Fund, the Manitoba Arts Council, and the Foundation for Choral Music in Manitoba, MCA is pleased to offer clinics to schools, music classes, community choirs, and singing groups in the Norman, Parkland, and Westman regions! This is an opportunity to experience MCA's flagship program in your own community.
This exciting pilot project is open to all ages and musical styles. It will run from November 13 to 19, 2023 and will be led by clinicians Dr. Catherine Robbins and Dr. Elroy Friesen from the University of Manitoba.
Workshops may be tailored to group needs; groups may choose to focus on a general clinic or a clinic on specific repertoire. The average length of a regional tour workshop will be 90 minutes for $165, but shorter or longer workshops may be arranged on a sliding scale cost.
All schools/choirs participating in ChoralFest must sign up for MCA choir membership. Learn more about MCA membership benefits and costs here. As a special promotion, we are offering a 50% discount on MCA choir membership to new choirs this year!
If cost is a barrier to participation, we encourage groups to apply for an MCA program bursary.

Sign up below to indicate your interest in participating in the ChoralFest 2023 Regional Tour. We will try our best to accommodate all groups that register their interest, however the tour itinerary and schedule will be determined on a first-come, first-served basis, so there may be instances when we will be unable to stop in your community.

MCA will send an invoice for the cost of the workshop once the itinerary and schedule are confirmed.
