AWARDS OF DISTINCTION

A limited number of awards in this category are given annually to recognize outstanding artistic achievement in choral music. Awards are presented to a choral conductor, singer, collaborative pianist or choir exhibiting artistic excellence, innovation, and significant leadership in the choral arts.

Nominations by MCA members are accepted throughout the year. Candidates are selected by an appointed MCA Award Committee each June and recipients are honoured at MCA events throughout the year, such as: MB Sings, ChoralFest, and the Manitoba Choral Association Annual General Meeting.
